Seacrets Distillery, a 1933-era speakeasy time capsule

Seacrets Distilling Company

Walking into Seacrets Distillery is akin to entering a time capsule and re-emerging in a 1933-era speakeasy. Ocean City’s premier distillery recreates and celebrates the end of prohibition in a state-of-the-art production facility boasting a treasure trove of period antiques and art. Opened in 2016, the distillery was the vision of restaurateur Leighton Moore – owner of the adjacent Seacrets nightclub – who oversaw its design and construction. Head distiller Cody Miller produces and bottles Seacrets award-winning, small-batch, handcrafted spirits. Sold on site, and available throughout Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C., Seacrets now produces varieties of rum, vodka, bourbon and whiskey. The distilling company attracts tens of thousands of visitors annually who line up for tours culminating with tastings in the speakeasy.Seacrets Distilling spirits

Since opening 5 years ago, the distillery now sells and distributes over 3x the amount of products. Their success at the distillery and nightclub has required help with more employees. In the summer season, Seacrets employs over 500, 100 in the off season and at least ten employees working the distillery.
